Download KORG Wavestate Native 1.2.0: New Updates and Fixes

KORG has recently released an update to their popular wavestate native plugin, version 1.2.2, which addresses several issues that were introduced in version 1.2.0. In this latest release, the company has restored the correct behavior of the plugin, ensuring a smoother user experience for music producers and sound designers.

One of the key fixes in version 1.2.2 is related to data saving and recalling in DAW sessions. Previously, users may have experienced issues where data saved in a DAW session would not be recalled correctly if the Performance was not present in the wavestate native database. This issue has been resolved, allowing users to easily recall their saved data without any problems.

Another significant improvement is found in modwave native, which now confirms that the user has write privileges for the selected folder before starting a sound database download. This added step helps prevent potential issues and ensures a successful download process.

In addition to these fixes, several other enhancements have been made to wavestate native 1.2.2. The footer's Seq Pulse/A/B/C/D sections are now disabled when the Motion Sequencer is turned off, and improvements have been made to undo/redo functionality for Sound Selectors.

Finally, the Update Available popup has been fixed to work properly in conjunction with the Demo splash screen, providing a more seamless user experience.

It's worth noting that some users may still encounter issues on macOS, particularly when using the VST3 version of modwave native. In this case, KORG recommends using the AU version as a workaround. Additionally, the company has identified a slowness issue affecting plug-ins with large numbers of automatable parameters, including modwave native.

In Ableton Live, program changes may be slower than expected for VST3 instruments in general, on both Windows and macOS. However, this issue is not specific to wavestate native and affects other plugins as well.
